Food pairing : Best enjoyed with dishes of pronounced flavor: traditional Mediterranean first courses with meat ragù, porcini mushrooms or black truffle, and game, roasted or braised meats.

For cheese, choose mature, flavorful varieties that can stand up to the wine’s intensity without overpowering it, such as aged pecorino and caciocavallo.
